PRESIDENT'S CORNER

Welcome to the official website of the East Point/College Park Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.  The East Point/College Park Alumnae Chapter was organized in 1979 by 32 dedicated sorors committed to upholding the mandates of Delta’s policy of public service.  Since the time of the chartering, our membership has grown to over 500 women dedicated to transforming lives by initiating and implementing programs in our service areas with a focus on:

• Educational Development
• Economic Development
• International Awareness and Involvement
• Political Awareness and Involvement
• Physical and Mental Health

Our public service efforts have also extended internationally to Africa for the Clean Water Project and Haiti for providing shoes and school supplies to orphaned children.  During the next two years we will continue to build on our rich legacy of service initiated by our 22 illustrious Founders as we move toward our centennial year.  We will also continue to prepare our youth for the future by engaging them in our Delta Academy, Delta GEMs Jabberwock/Jewel Court Cotillions, EMBODI, Teen Forums, and other unique programs developed to meet the needs of our community.

We are proud of our rich history, our leadership, and our dedicated members. Our chapter is always looking for committed, determined and motivated Deltas to work with us along the journey as we continue to promote scholarship, sisterhood, and service.  If you are looking for a great chapter to call home, please come and join us!
